I was referred to Kathryn and Jeff by another photographer and couldn't be more happy they found me! Not only was their Bend, Oregon wedding spectacular and beautiful, they were one of the sweetest couples I have worked with. The bridal party and family members were all so welcoming and wonderful to work with as well. Whenever I have a destination or getaway wedding I also love to make a weekend or trip out of it. The couple was so sweet to invite us to stay and come to their rehearsal and get together. We came early to scout out the beautiful Suttle Lake Resort. The venue is so beautiful with rustic cabins, mountain views, a lake, and a beautiful stream. Shauna Davis with Stepping Stone Wedding Events did a great job with all of the decor mixing vintage with rustic elements. The bride's mom and grandmother worked very hard to make the coffee filter flowers for the alter and other decor! Talk about dedication! I always love when couples get married by water and the beautiful mountains. The wedding was a perfect blend of rustic elegance with such gorgeous scenery. They chose this location so all of their family members could really have a relaxing getaway and spend more time together throughout the weekend. I think Central Oregon is a wonderful option for couples looking for that perfect outdoor destination wedding.
