I’m so happy you’ve come here to get to know me. I have long called myself a hopeless romantic, and even after all these years, it’s still true. I fell in love with life when I was still a very young girl, and I was inspired to document everything I saw even in those early days. I was an amateur photographer even before I knew it would become my professional work. When I did finally make the decision to capture memories for others, I knew it would have to be through the lens of love. You see, around the same time I realized I love taking pictures, I also realized I had the mother gene. Yes. I mother everyone around me, nurturing, guiding, welcoming, and including.

Those natural qualities come through in my photography in ways that allow my clients to connect with each other, with the moment, and with the camera. For almost two decades now, I have been photographing weddings, newborns, high school seniors, engaged couples, extended families, expecting mothers, business professionals, and, in more recent years, women seeking to embrace their innate divinity and sexuality through embodiment photography. I take great pride in revealing the real, honest, authentic side of my clients in their photos in the same way I do with my own friends and family. It is an honor to be allowed into your lives for a few hours so I can capture the depth of who you really are in photos that will last a lifetime and beyond.

When I’m not taking pictures, you will likely find me running around Southern Oregon with my four kids (Yes. Four kids under the age of 10!), hanging out with my fellow homeschool moms in parks, lakes, rivers, and creeks, having brunch with friends or dinner with my mom and sisters, or trying to sneak in a date night with my darling husband. (And let’s be honest, I’m probably still taking pictures then, too.)

I live in Sam’s Valley on a large property with chickens, ducks, goats, kittens, a dog, a turkey, bunnies, and whatever other animal my kids might bring home. It’s crazy, chaotic, and wild, but it’s a life we love. Remember, I’m a hopeless romantic, so I find myself saying yes, yes yes, to so many things in life, because I’m here to experience it all.

Every single drop of it.

And I’m taking pictures along the way.

I’d love to take your pictures as well, so if you’re ready to get started, fill out the contact form on my contact page, or send me an email at hello@olivialeighphotoart.com

Here’s to loving life and documenting that love whenever we can.
