in front of the camera! I loved having her a senior rep model this year, she was such a great asset to our team!

WELCOME BABY JUDE THOMAS SWEENEY | SEPTEMBER 16, 2014
Ok, everyone I have been seriously slacking on updating my personal, behind the lens, blogs! I think
it might have to do with becoming a new mom in the last 5 months and learning to juggle being a
work at home mom. So I have decided to bring you all up to date on the happenings of the Sweeney
family. As you all know I was pregnant last summer, waddling around shooting weddings and portrait
sessions in the heat with swollen feet. Being pregnant did not stop me though. I wanted to continue
working because it is my passion and its in my bones. I can't just stop photographing, it's what makes
me me! After working hard, getting everything all ready and projects sent and packaged to clients I was
ready for our little boy to arrive. On September 16th, 2015 Jude Thomas Sweeney was born. He had
our hearts at his first cries. We were so blessed to have had such an amazing birth and healthy beautiful baby
boy. I was instantly in love and have been for the past 5 months! These photos are the a few a snapped at the
hospital and our first days at home. He seems so little now looking back and has changed and grown so much!
I had to personally document this time in our life because it is so precious the first days with your first baby.
Becoming a mom is like a dream, a foggy happy crazy dream. It all can be a blur and you feel
all of this love and emotions you never thought were possible to feel, like falling in love all over again
every second of the day. All the while you are just wondering how this little human could possibly be yours,
how could this have happened, it is truly a miracle. I knew I wanted to document this with my art because
yes iphone photos are great but real photographs tell a completely different story. My love and passion for photography
has actually grown and become much more deep and meaningful since becoming a mom.
I will continue to post photos and blog about Jude, he is one of my favorite new little subjects!

Abby | Class of 2015 St. Mary's High School
Abby is a wonderful person with very many talents. She is an awesome photographer as well as a
violinist. I had the pleasure of documenting her and her transition into the adult world. She is so
full of personality, determination and dreams. There is no doubt she will go many great places in her
life as she leaves high school behind. During our shoot it was a rainy and cloudy day, we were both
hopeful that some sun would peak out to get that glow all photographers crave. Even though we didn't
get that sunshine, the rain and clouds were perfect for her beautiful blue dress in the field. I told her when
I was shooting her while she played her violin that I felt like I was witnessing the creation of a really
cool music video. My little boy was 2 months old at the time and was in the ergo carrier during the shoot
and he loved her music as she played some lullaby's for him. It was a very fun and unique session, I love
when seniors incorporate their personalities and interests into shoots, it makes the session very person.
